SAND Geckos

Sand Geckos (Stenodactylus spp) are also known as dune geckos among other names. 

Stenodactylus sthenodactylus is called Lichtenstein's Short-Fingered Geckos or Elegant Geckos. They are approximately 3 inch (7.5 cm) lizards found throughout the Sahara Desert and Middle East. 

More sand geckos in the genus Stenodactylus include S. Petrii (which is larger than the S. sthenodactylus) and S. Doriae among others.
